Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) is a volunteer, nonprofit organization that provides literature and textbooks in a digital audio format to people who cannot effectively read standard print because of visual impairment, dyslexia, or other physical disability. Founded in 1948, RFB&D has a rich history of serving individuals with diverse learning needs and is committed to helping your students achieve academic success. Your school can access the nation’s largest lending library of audio textbooks and novels by becoming a member of RFB&D. This section of the Learning Through Listening website contains all the information you need to become an RFB&D member and also provides information on the unique equipment RFB&D offers to enhance the audiobook experience.
